Established in 2020, the American Friends is the local chapter and charitable arm of a world-class healthcare facility that delivers innovative interventions and treatment with unwavering dignity and with exceptional, devoted care.
American Friends of Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center (Registered charity number 11-2831454) is a national not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization that promotes the Bnei Brak hospital, and provides financial support for services, capital projects and equipment through philanthropic leadership.
Of course we welcome your donations. As an independent community hospital, Mayanei Hayeshua relies greatly on the financial support of our big-hearted, generous donors. Your one gift can save a life.

Recent Advances:
Although Mayanei Hayeshua accounts for just 2% of Israeli hospital beds, we catered for over 10% of COVID-19 cases in our custom-built CV facility that went up in 48 hours. Israel’s Health Ministry has designated Mayanei Hayeshua as one of the few hospitals chosen to add an entire CV floor in preparation for any future emergency.
Specializing in Eating Disorders and other psychiatric illnesses, our mental health wing is the first culturally-sensitive mental health unit in the world. Our Psychiatric Post-Hospitalization Monitoring Unit minimizes patient readmission through timely and effective follow-up programs.
We currently deliver more than 12,000 beautiful Jewish babies every year! As demand for the unique “Mayanei Hayeshua birthing experience” continues to grow, we are adding beds to a department that has had a zero-infection rate for several years.R
