Across all departments in both the main hospital and the Mental Health Center, our team of social workers is working tirelessly bringing compassion and professional expertise to help alleviate the stress of patients and staff. They are in constant contact with the families of staff who have been drafted and are also on hand to help staff members cope with the mental stress of dealing with victims of the atrocities. The young and vulnerable patients in the children’s ward are by no means immune to what is happening in the outside world, and our social workers are actively helping the children learn to cope with their anxieties.
