Operating Theaters Wing

At the start of 2021, a new and luxurious wing was inaugurated, which includes two operating theaters equipped with the most innovative technology, a spacious and comfortable recovery unit, doctors' rooms, equipment and storerooms, and a waiting area for families. The new wing was built to provide a response to the ever- increasing demand indicated by an increase of hundreds of percent in the surgeries performed at the Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center. For this purpose, a further step was decided upon – the start time of the surgeries was brought forward to 07:00 in the morning, in order to enable the completion of more surgeries per day. The two new operating theaters are added to the wing that has been in existence for many years and now includes 4 operating rooms, a surgery preparation unit and a recovery unit. With the inauguration of the new wing, it was decided to expedite the rebuilding of the existing wing in order to maximize the quality and experience of treatment given to the patient. This major project is expected to be commenced in the near future after obtaining the required budgets.
