Two brand new operating rooms were recently inaugurated on top of the four existing ones. Additionally, a large and impressive Post-Op Day Hospitalization department was established. The Jacob and Lea Friedman Operating Wing was built in response to the extensive demand for expanding the operating services at the hospital to answer the rising need.
The Operating Wing is solely staffed by handpicked professionals – professors, doctors, surgeons, anesthesiologists – all of whom are noted experts in their fields as well as having extensive experience in a wide range of surgical fields. Undergoing periodic supplementary training, comprising the crème de la crème of the quality medicine offered under the supervision and management of Professor Nathan Wexler, director of the Anesthesiology Division and Operating Wing at Mayanei Hayeshua. Supporting the doctors are a dedicated team of professional nurses who ensure that the patients receive individual and personal care and attention.
The Operating Wing uses advanced technological equipment such as a unique Laparoscopic Tower which has all the equipment required for inspecting the abdominal cavity without surgically opening it.
